In case you missed it, yesterday our partners at the Community Violence Legal Network (CVLN) launched the first national legal network dedicated to supporting community violence intervention (CVI) organizations, survivors, and frontline workers—especially in Black and Brown communities.

CVLN is building the legal infrastructure the CVI field needs to survive, scale, and be protected from impact litigation and rapid response to legal trainings and pro bono support. We have worked with them to help raise over $1M for a legal fund, and they built a strong team of legal and community leaders and are leading the legal fight to restore DOJ CVI funding.

And today, Community Justice will join them at the Federal District Court in DC to support the historic lawsuit against the DOJ for the recent funding cuts!
