Like me, you were probably surprised by Trump’s decision to drop bombs on Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend. Although Trump has consistently stated that Iran is not permitted to develop nuclear weapons, Trump’s actions escalated the situation, leaving Americans wondering what the end result will be.

The truth is, Iran does not need Uranium to strike America. The Islamic religion has been attacking our homeland for years with no shots fired.

Here in Tarrant County, where True Texas Project was founded, an Albanian mosque, Xhamia Shqiptare, is led by an imam named Ilir Aliji Koka. Koka speaks proudly of his mentors who have openly called for the destruction of all Christian churches in the Arabian Peninsula and believes 10-year-old girls should be married.

This man also works with organizations to promote Islam in our state and has many other concerning associations with Islamic leaders who call for Jihad.

This is unacceptable. This radical Islamic culture cannot coexist with American culture if we hope to survive. We can no longer afford to just be nice, tolerant, and accepting, leaving the gates open for them to run right over us.

Need more evidence? Democrat State Rep. Salman Bhojani, who represents part of Tarrant County, was sworn in with his hand on the Quran! He has used his position to promote legislation that recognizes Muslim holidays, legitimizes Imams as religious leaders capable of performing marriages, and calls for a day to “combat Islamaphobia.”

This ideology stands in direct opposition to America’s founding principles.
