Montana holds some of the most beautiful and valuable natural resources our country has to offer. Our public lands not only provide enjoyment, they also generate millions of dollars in economic activity and jobs for the area. One of my top priorities in Congress will be to protect them.

The Trump administration poses an existential threat to our public lands. Some politicians and lobbyists see exploiting Montana’s wilderness as an opportunity to fatten their wallets. We cannot take our public lands for granted - we must act now to protect them. 

This is why I have been working with a group of fellow public servants and environmental justice organizations to create a petition demanding that all elected officials commit to protecting our public lands.
