In these perilous times, LGBTIQ groups around the world are organizing for change. Join them by supporting Outright International.
Double your Pride gift right now to help Outright document truth and defy global erasure.
Outright research is the gold standard of documentation of LGBTIQ people’s lived realities in our troubled world. Compiled in collaboration with our global partners on the ground, our reports, images, data, narratives, and conclusions reach government officials, multilateral organizations, journalists, philanthropists, and influencers in every corner of public life.
Our efforts help bring greater awareness to the fact that:
Thailand is considering several draft bills on legal gender recognition, including one that also addresses harmful intersex genital mutilation
Australia's Federal Court has affirmed that trans people are protected from gender identity discrimination under the country’s Sex Discrimination Act
LBQ women in Sudan are collaborating with feminist movements to collectively challenge patriarchal and heteronormative ideologies
Truth has power. And you have the power to spread it all over the world in service of LGBTIQ people’s freedom, safety, dignity, and hope.
There’s no better way for you to use your power than by supporting Outright International. There’s no better time to do it than right now, during Pride season, when a generous supporter will match every dollar, doubling your impact.
LGBTIQ people and our allies are Stronger Together—and never more so than when we unite behind the vital work of Outright International.
Please give generously right now.

P.S. Here’s one key example of what your support today will make possible. Outright’s authoritative report,The Global State of LGBTIQ Organizing, studied 194 countries and found that just 56% (109) permit LGBTIQ organizations to legally register with that open purpose. In 28% (55 countries), LGBTIQ organizations exist but cannot legally register as having anything to do with LGBTIQ advocacy or support; they can only be “closeted.” This research finding has motivated donors to find innovative ways to work with organizations that are registered or can't work publicly, while supporting those who need financial or legal assistance in order to register.
Even in the face of severe repression, LGBTIQ activists around the world continue to organize, resist, and push for change. Help power this work by supporting Outright today.
