Stronger together: Shaping bespoke collaborations tailored to your needs

The challenges we face today are bigger than any one organisation acting alone. That’s why, for almost three decades, Forum for the Future has championed change-making collaborations for a just and regenerative future.

We partner with trailblazing businesses, foundations, philanthropies and civil society organisations that share our ambition. Through both one-to-one partnerships and cross-sector coalitions, we are reimagining the purpose of businesses in our society and economy. We are reshaping how we think about, produce, consume and value both food and energy.

And we’re doing it at scale and pace. So whether it’s by developing a strategy to change your business, or by creating opportunities to influence the wider operating context of which you are a part, there are numerous ways we can support you.

Find out more about our services and partners below or let’s chat to explore a bespoke collaboration that’s right for you.

Mobilising the private sector for climate and health

Climate change is not just an environmental issue. It is the defining health risk of our time. For all businesses, it presents both an urgent challenge and a major opportunity to lead with purpose and impact.

At London Climate Action Week, the Climate and Health Coalition brought together ambitious changemakers from across sustainability and the private sector. Together, we explored how businesses are taking meaningful steps to address climate-related health risks through mitigation, adaptation and community engagement. The Coalition, through its Food Cluster, also explored how food businesses in particular are investing in health opportunities.

Since 2021, the Coalition has been mobilising the private sector and developing guidance and recommendations for integrated climate and health action. Explore its latest resources:

Beyond sustainability: Businesses embrace “regenerative” systems thinking

There is a growing trend towards using “regenerative” as an evolution from the term “sustainability”. Writing for Economist Impact, Forum CEO Hannah Pathak recognises this as a positive sign; one that reflects a much-needed shift in business mindsets from ‘do less harm’ to proactively reconfiguring the key systems on which we rely. While demystifying what is meant by "regenerative", Hannah also highlights examples of innovative businesses already putting theory into action — with outstanding results.

Innovation challenge to accelerate circularity in renewable energy in India

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in India has launched an Innovation Challenge on Circularity in Renewable Energy Technologies, focusing on solar photovoltaics and battery storage. It invites innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, and industry players to develop solutions that reduce waste, enhance recyclability, and promote circularity across the RE value chain.

The Responsible Energy Initiative (REI) India has supported the development of the Innovation Challenge through its partners CEEW and WRI India. This effort aligns with REI India’s commitment to building circular renewable energy value chains in India.
