I'm Katie Culbert, a 4‑H'er, college student, a beekeeper, and someone who believes that age should never limit impact.
When I was just 15, I started a 4‑H beekeeping club because I wanted to protect pollinators. That one idea evolved into a 2,500 sq. ft. pollinator garden, a beekeeping certification, a YouTube channel, and even a native plant bill that's now in the NJ State Assembly and the NJS Senate. I am currently serving as an intern in the Office of US Congressman Jeff Van Drew in Washington, DC!
But none of that would have happened without 4‑H and people like you.
4‑H gave me the tools to lead, the space to grow, and the confidence to speak up (even when I was the youngest person in the room).
Now, I'm asking you to help more youth like me turn their passion into purpose.
Your gift doesn't just support programs; it supports possibility. It helps young people build gardens, write legislation, and change the world — one hive at a time.
