John, I’m Mikie Sherrill, and I am honored to be the official Democratic nominee for governor here in New Jersey. I wanted to take a minute to give you an update on my race and to explain why your support is so important today. The general election just got underway, and a new poll shows a statistical tie in the race for New Jersey governor. But I’ve spent my whole career running toward tough fights — as a Navy helicopter pilot, a federal prosecutor, and a Congresswoman fighting for New Jerseyans. I promise you, I am going to work every single day to win this one — because the stakes for our families, our state, and our democracy are way too high for anything less. The fact is, New Jersey is now a battleground state. And Trump is already campaigning for my opponent, Jack Ciattarelli, a career politician who has promised to pass an abortion ban, defund public schools, and bring DOGE to New Jersey. So, truthfully, we won’t win this race and those down the ticket unless we have a strong grassroots team behind us right from the start. That’s why I’m asking for your help today. If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your split contribution between the New Jersey Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee instantly.
I’m in this fight to make life easier and more affordable for New Jersey families. Thank you for your help as we work to do just that, Mikie Sherrill ![]() If you gave recently via check or mail, our system may not have yet processed your gift.
