If you care about the outdoors, I need you to join me in taking urgent
action today.

Republicans in the Senate recently unveiled a new plan to auction off
millions of acres of public land to private developers.

Every American who cares about our country’s natural landscapes has reason
to be angry at this plan. If this addition to their so-called “One Big
Beautiful Bill Act” gets signed into law, this move could represent the
single largest sale of national public lands in modern history – all to
pay for tax cuts for the richest people in the country.

And although the Senate parliamentarian ruled that the original plan could
not go forward under the reconciliation process, the author has vowed to
revise the plan to make it compatible with Senate rules.

There’s still time to stop this. But only if enough of us speak out
against this unjust and irresponsible sale of our beloved public lands.

lands. We all must speak up to tell Senate Republicans that our access to
the outdoors is not for sale.

This has been Trump’s playbook all along. He’s defunding the agencies who steward
our public lands in order to auction them off to the highest bidder – with
zero regard for the grave and irreversible consequences.

Now, if Republican Senators get their way,
our local recreation areas, wilderness study areas, critical wildlife
habitats, and big game migration corridors across the American West will
all be eligible for sale to private interests – all to offset the cost of
huge tax breaks for multi-millionaires and billionaires.

The memories I made fishing, camping, and hiking on our public lands when
I was a young girl are what inspired my lifelong dedication to protecting
the outdoors, and it breaks my heart to imagine those same opportunities
being stolen from our children and grandchildren. That’s why I am
personally asking you to sign on today:

[ [link removed] ]Sign on to OPPOSE this forced sale of millions of acres of American
public land. To stop this from passing, we must gather as many signatures
as possible to tell Senate Republicans that our public lands are not for
sale.

Our public lands belong to all of us. Thank you for standing up for the
lands and future our children will inherit.

P.S. As Secretary of the Interior, I helped protect millions of acres of
public land across our country. But now, all of the progress we fought for
is on the chopping block. [ [link removed] ]Please take just one minute to add your name
to my urgent petition to OPPOSE this massive sale of America’s public
lands.
