Zohran Mamdani just won a historic victory—defying an army of
billionaires, political elites, and Establishment Democrats who pulled out
all the stops to defeat him in the NYC mayoral primary. Bernie put it
perfectly:

a real risk Establishment Democrats will refuse to back Mamdani, even
though voters have decisively spoken.
We’ve seen this before: In 2021, India Walton won the mayoral primary in
Buffalo—only to have the establishment rally around a corporate-backed
independent candidate who defeated her in the general election.
