I had to reach out because, this week, the Supreme Court could vote to further gut the Voting Rights Act.
If the justices decide that politicians can choose their voters – and not the other way around – we need to be ready to fight for fair maps with everything we've got.

Republicans in Louisiana are trying to rig the maps, and now it's gone all the way to the Supreme Court.
This ruling will not only impact redistricting and fair maps across the country but could also sway control of the House of Representatives next year.
I’ve always fought to protect and expand voting rights, including supporting getting rid of partisan gerrymandering and calling out dumb lies when politicians try to rig things in their favor.
