Under Donald Trump’s lead, ultra-MAGA Republicans have gone beyond conspiracy theories – they’re openly attacking the foundations of our democracy. 

By trying to discredit our elections, threatening election workers, and laying the groundwork to overturn future results, they’re steering the country toward something that looks a lot like authoritarianism.

Even President Obama is calling out these attacks:

And in 2026, with 26 Secretary of State races on the ballot, that fight comes to the states. These elections could determine whether trusted public servants or MAGA loyalists are in charge the next time our democracy is on the line – including the 2028 presidential election.
