Take a deep breath, folks: June is almost over.

This month has proven two things: Our challenges are numerous, and our
adversaries are absolutely shameless in their cruelty and lies.

But I want to make it clear that these challenges do not define us. Our
response to them will.

When I gave the commencement address to Bowie State University graduates,
I said this:

“I’ve got news for you: Discomfort is a reality in this life. You can run
from it. You can try to avoid it. But boldness doesn’t hide from a little
hard work, and it doesn’t hide from challenges.”

Yup, that’s right: Boldness doesn’t hide from a challenge, and neither do
I. [ [link removed] ]That’s why I’m asking for a contribution of $10 before our FEC
End-of-Quarter finance deadline to help power my work for Maryland.

Here are a few bold moments from June that I’m especially proud to share
with you:

* I introduced the Medicare and Medicaid Dental, Vision, and Hearing
Benefit Act to guarantee seniors and lower-income Marylanders access
to these lifesaving services.

* I continued my campaign to remove disastrous HHS secretary RFK Jr.
after becoming the 1st member of Congress to call for his resignation.

* I spoke candidly with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell about all the reasons
RFK Jr. MUST go — from $15 million cuts to cancer research to a
growing measles outbreak to his deadly lies about vaccines and MORE.

* I defended my colleague, Senator Padilla, on the Senate floor, after
he was handcuffed and thrown to the floor for questioning the Trump
administration (AKA doing his job).

* I’ll close out on a more positive and colorful note: I was honored to
serve as Grand Marshal in Baltimore’s 50th Pride Annual Parade and
meet so many members of our LGBTQ+ community!

This month’s challenges are not done yet, however: Our FEC End-of-Quarter
deadline is on Monday, and I’m counting on your help to cross the finish
line.

Your grassroots support helps me update you regularly on our triumphs,
hurdles, and everything in between.

[ [link removed] ]Please, will you rush a $10 End-of-Quarter donation to help me continue
BOLDLY confronting our biggest challenges both on and off Capitol Hill?
