Zohran Mamdani’s grassroots campaign triumphed over millions of dollars in outside spending from billionaires and dark money groups. This was a clear message to our party that we need to deliver a message of affordability and build multiracial working class coalitions to win.

It might sound cheesy to say… but these are the winds of change. And they’re propelled by organizing, solidarity, and vision.

I know that things felt pretty hopeless after the election in the fall – but last night should show you ANYTHING is possible when we the people show up and show out as a movement with a shared vision.

Because without a vision, the people will perish.
