The park is dedicated to Branden Sisca, a fallen PA State Trooper and chief firefighter who was a leader and dedicated member of our community. It was a privilege to be able to attend the grand opening ceremony over the weekend. Make sure you take some time to visit the beautiful park located behind Trappe Borough Hall at 525 W. Main Street, Trappe, PA. | Women in Pennsylvania—the PA Women’s Health Caucus wants to hear from you! The group of talented women visited to celebrate both National Tap Day (May 25) and Juneteenth (June 19) and gave an outstanding performance in the East Wing Rotunda. The Lady Hoofers are a Philadelphia-based nonprofit group who highlight the importance of our arts, while also serving as mentors in the community—offering free lessons, free tap shoes and program assistance to local students. I was glad to see a few of my colleagues stop by, including Rep. Paul Friel. | I'm grateful that Dr. Janine Darby, and her husband, Chad, include me each year in the DEI Task Force's Juneteenth celebration.
