I joined the Save America Movement to form a coalition that can move mountains, win elections, and save our country. We pull no punches about what’s at stake or what we must do.

At this moment of national crisis, it’s not enough to simply resist, post, or talk about what must be done. We must organize, plan, and act with moral clarity, strategic focus, and cultural reach.

I’m humbled to be part of this effort alongside Steve Schmidt and a steering committee of principled Americans. Each of us brings a unique experience to the fight — mine is conservation and public lands. And one of our first, most urgent priorities is to protect what MAGA extremists are trying to steal: our shared public lands.

Right now, MAGA sycophants in DC are waging a treasonous war on the American West — and on our 640 million-acre birthright of public rivers, forests, plains, mountains, and coastlines. Senator Mike Lee is leading the charge with a backdoor attempt to sell our public lands to billionaires and private developers in Trump’s tax bill.

But he’s not acting alone. This is a coordinated attack by MAGA operatives in the House, Senate, and White House. They want what is ours because greed is all they care about.

They can’t have it.

The land we all own together is one of the last great equalizers in the world. It’s proof that American democracy works, that citizens can own and protect something vast and beautiful together.

We have a choice: a functioning democracy, or feudal control by billionaires and corporations.

Through SAM, we’re building a movement powerful enough to recognize the threat we face and fight back. We’ll organize, advertise, advocate, and inform. We’ll bring together the communities and coalitions that are ready to draw a line in the sand. And we’ll cause a damn ruckus while we’re at it.
