Phil Murphy was re-elected Governor with only 51 percent of the vote in 2021.
Donald Trump improved his margin by roughly 10 points in the state in 2024 compared to 2020.
Trump even won right here in NJ-09, making Nellie one of thirteen Democratic members of Congress to win in a Trump district.

There's nothing to sugarcoat, team. New Jersey is a battleground, and we need to treat it like one because conservative Super PACs are already launching negative ad buys targeting Nellie.
