Dear John,
Last night’s mayoral primary was a big win for grassroots organizers and volunteers nationwide.
Zohran Mamdani pulled off what many said couldn’t be done. He upset Andrew Cuomo in the primary and got one step closer to becoming New York’s next mayor.
How did this happen? Grassroots supporters like you stepped up in a big way.
This is just another example of what can happen when democracy believers across the country come together for a common goal. Mamdami’s campaign put in the work, knocking on doors, organizing communities, and demonstrating true love for their city.
Last night’s victory is a sign of things to come. It’s a reminder that as long as we stick together, stay vigilant, and put in the work, we will win.
We’re taking this same energy to this year’s statewides, next year’s midterms, and beyond. Chip in to show us you’re with us >>
