Sign the Petition: STOP Trump’s cuts to our national parks >>
John, when I visited the Grand Canyon as a kid, it opened my eyes to the beauty of our nation’s landscape and made me a life-long nature lover.
But if President Trump gets his way, children across America will be robbed of this experience.
Why? Because our national parks are the latest target of Trump’s slash and burn campaign.
Recently, the White House released a budget proposal that would slash $1.2 billion in funding from the National Park Service – on top of the damage Elon Musk’s DOGE already did this spring. All so a few billionaire donors can save money on taxes.
John, we need your help to speak out. Add your name today if you agree we must STOP the cuts and protect our parks from Trump's attacks >>
National Park employees do critical work to protect the forests, plains, and history that define America’s great outdoors. That’s why nearly 70 percent of Americans want to see the number of National Park employees increase or stay the same, according to our poll. [2]
Nobody voted for this. Our national parks are already underfunded. These cuts would be devastating to park functions like recreation, upkeep, and animal protection. I’m a nature lover, so these cuts really hit home.
These parks don’t exist to pad the pockets of wealthy donors or make room for private developers. They belong to all of us – not just the wealthy few. We must stop DOGE from stripping our parks of their critical resources.
John, if you agree we can’t let that happen, will you add your name to demand Congress protect the National Park Service from Trump’s attacks?
I hope you’ll join me in protecting these great American landscapes for ourselves and for generations to come.
Thanks for all you do,
The team at Common Cause
