Friend, have you seen this quote from Punchbowl News?

Mitch McConnell just said the quiet part out loud:

They are putting tax breaks for billionaires before life-saving programs like Medicaid.

They are jamming through a bill gutting Medicaid despite the life-or-death consequences for their constituents.

McConnell may think “failure isn’t an option,” but I’m going to do everything in my power to make this awful bill fail — and I hope you’ll join me.

So, Sandra, I say no.

I say no to letting life-saving programs be gutted in favor of tax breaks for billionaires.

I say no to leaving American families to fend for themselves.

I say no to this bill, and to the Republicans willing to leave their constituents in the dust to appease Donald Trump.

If you say no to letting Republicans jam through this bill that cuts Medicaid to fund billionaire tax breaks too, I am personally asking you to join me and sign my petition.

Will you please add your name to tell Senate Republicans that you say no to this bill? We are much more powerful when we act together. I will vote no on this bill, and I will continue advocating for my colleagues in the Senate to do the same.

Thank you. I will always protect the life-saving programs Americans rely on, and I’m sincerely grateful to have your support.

Tammy
