Zohran Mamdani won the Democratic primary in New York City because he promised a new way forward — and a solution to the affordability crisis that is driving people out of New York.
He ran against an out-of-touch establishment candidate with no real vision for the future, propped up by a campaign war chest filled with corporate PAC money. Sound familiar?
Zohran’s win is a reminder that the Democratic establishment is beatable. That better things are possible.
