Attention Social Equity Registrants: LCB Remains Primary Source of Communication

This message is a friendly reminder that the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB), and our sole third-party application reviewer Alta Point Consulting [ [link removed] ], are the official sources of information for all communication related to Washington’s Cannabis Social Equity Program [ [link removed] ].

We have heard from program registrants, licensees, and others about unauthorized third-parties who are offering consulting services for potential applicants. Out of an abundance of caution, we are notifying you that LCB has not authorized any other person, company, or entity to assist registrants or applicants for a Cannabis Social Equity license. Following the advice of, or otherwise working with an unofficial source, is to do so at your own risk. If you have any doubts or confusion, please know that the LCB website is your reliable source for information.

*LCB Website*

The LCB website offers the most up-to-date information about the Cannabis Social Equity Program and is updated regularly as information is available. Check out our page on ‘What the LCB is Doing Now?’ [ [link removed] ] for our most recent updates. Additionally, on the site you can:

* Watch the Educational Video series [ [link removed] ] to learn about the application process for the Cannabis Social Equity Program.
* Read the rules and FAQs as well as view the Disproportionately Impacted Areas (DIA) maps that are key to the program.
* Learn how to submit a completed registration to be considered for a Cannabis Social Equity license. The registration window closes next week so don’t delay.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
