Hey John — it's Lily Tomlin.

You know, most friendships don't involve civil disobedience. But then again, most friendships aren't like mine and Jane's.

We've marched together at the Women's March. We've stood on picket lines supporting striking writers and actors. We've protested pipelines threatening Indigenous communities. And yes, we've been zip-tied and hauled away by police in front of the U.S. Capitol for demanding climate action.

I’d do it again 100 times over, because the climate crisis is the fight of our lifetimes, and I refuse to sit on the sidelines while greedy corporations drive our planet to the brink of disaster.

Don’t worry… you don’t need to join us in jail to make an impact. Instead, chip in what you can to the Jane Fonda Climate PAC before their end-of-quarter deadline to join Jane and me in the fight to elect the next generation of climate leaders. [[link removed]]

Being willing to put your body on the line for what you believe in changes you. It reminds you that some fights are worth any risk, and that real change requires people who won't back down.

That’s why I couldn’t be prouder of my friend Jane. What she has built with the Jane Fonda Climate PAC is one of the most inspiring examples I've seen of what true dedication to our planet looks like.

They’re working around the clock to elect climate champions at every level of government, from city councils to Congress, who are brave enough to put people over profit and take the fossil fuel industry head-on.

Scientists warn we have just a few years left to significantly reduce planet-warming carbon emissions to avoid the worst impacts of the climate crisis. Every fraction of a degree the planet warms means deadlier heat waves, more catastrophic wildfires, and a heartbreaking loss of biodiversity. It’s why we need to act — right now.

John, Jane tells me that her team is facing their biggest fundraising deadline yet on June 30th, and she needs your help. Will you join me in supporting Jane and the incredible work she’s doing by chipping in before their end-of-quarter deadline? [[link removed]]

Lily Tomlin
