1. Mark grew up in a working-class household – and was the first person in his family to graduate college. He remains committed to ensuring Virginia public schools provide the best education possible so every student can access the career path they want to pursue.

2. Before his career in public service, Mark was a successful businessman, but it took a few tries. His first business failed within weeks. His second attempt failed within the first six months. His third venture broke through – and now he’s working in the Senate to expand access capital for Virginia small business owners and entrepreneurs.

3. He is an avid bicyclist. It's one of the many reasons Senator Warner has championed legislation to protect the environment, invest in better infrastructure, and save our public lands.

4. He knows how to get things done, even in a closely divided Congress. Whether it's working with Republicans to invest $12 billion to help underserved communities access affordable capital, passing historic infrastructure legislation, or protecting our national security, Senator Warner has a long track record of working across the aisle to deliver for Virginians and all Americans.

5. But Mark Warner won’t hesitate to call out Republicans and the Trump administration when their actions harm our freedoms, our safety, or our bank accounts. He’s leading the fight to hold Trump accountable for his senseless tariffs on our allies, the administration’s sloppy (to say the least) handling of classified information and their blatant corruption.

We need Mark in the Senate – but we can’t get complacent. We saw what happened to incumbent Senators in 2024. We need to be prepared for one of Trump’s billionaire allies to set up a $50 or $100 million super PAC against us.
