We attended the Portland Pride Parade on Saturday, where we marched with thousands of Mainers and over 100 other organizations in celebration and solidarity. It was joyful, powerful, and filled with people standing up for a future where everyone can live with dignity and pride.

But as beautiful as it was, Pride is more than a celebration. It's a call to action.

Across the country, and right here in Maine, extremist Republicans are attacking LGBTQ+ rights and trying to roll back the freedoms we've fought so hard to win.
