Hey friend, can you believe this?

The far right is now trying to dupe Americans into believing that the #1 human cause of global climate change is a GOOD thing???

I’m the only atmospheric scientist in Congress today, and I spent my adult life communicating science to the people.

And if you don’t know who Mary Miller is, that’s a good thing. But her district borders mine, so we have a lot of the same type of voters. And they’re being hoodwinked.

This is the Republican plan of 2025. Trick voters into believing that science is some liberal conspiracy.

I grew up in a middle-class family in Rockford, Illinois. I didn’t attend a fancy Ivy League school, and I’m proud of my diploma from Northern Illinois University. I never made more than $68,000 a year in my career as a small-town Meteorologist.

But it never mattered.

Science mattered.

Truth mattered.

Now we have Republicans who think they can create their own “science” to dupe small-town voters, all the while helping their billionaire donors get richer.

It may sound cliche, but now is the right time to fight back.

If you believe climate, science, and the truth are worth fighting for, I need you today.

And yes, $3 does add up. In another email, I’ll let you know about this being the most competitive seat in the state. Or why the other side wants me out of Congress because I was the first LGBTQ+ person Illinois has sent to Washington.

But today, it’s about fighting their stupid CO2 conspiracy. Ahead of our FEC deadline, donate today to help keep the only Meteorologist in Congress.
