I won’t stay silent

Ayanna Pressley for Congress

Right now, Trump is facing over 300 legal challenges in court. In case after case, we are winning.

Trump tried to end birthright citizenship — blocked.

He tried to deny people fleeing violence and persecution their human right to asylum — blocked.

He tried to defund cities — blocked.

And because we are winning in court, Republicans are trying to change the rules to rig the system.

Progressives like me are standing in the gap. I’m raising my voice — on Capitol Hill and in the streets — against Republican extremism, but I can’t do this alone. Will you chip in today and help amplify our message of opposition against Trump and extremist Republicans?

Tucked in the Big, Ugly bill, which Republicans voted for against the will of their constituents, was a provision that would restrict the judiciary from enforcing court orders and holding government officials accountable.

This was an intentional and deliberate attempt to undermine the courts, so that the Trump Administration can break the law with impunity.

Republicans pretend to care about law and order. But this provision is the exact opposite.

The people who voted for the Big, Ugly bill don't want the American people protected, and they don't want them to access their courts and access the ability to protect their rights.

This is about nothing but power and control.

I’m raising the alarms and using my power as a Congresswoman on the House Oversight Committee to stop Republicans from eroding the necessary checks and balances of our democracy.

I need your help today to help spread our message. This campaign is people-powered, and right now, we must show the power of the people. Chip in today to fuel our fight >>
