John, I know I ask a lot of you. Your time and attention. Your commitment to democracy. Your vote. And yes, I ask for your contribution. I also recognize that each time I ask for those things, I’m asking you to place your trust in me. I don’t take that lightly. John, I need you to hear me out again today because we have an end-of-quarter filing deadline just five days from now, and the progress we’ve committed to achieving in North Carolina is only possible if we have the financial strength to elect Democratic partners to help. North Carolina Republicans have done everything in their power to keep control of our legislature, prevent us from electing Democratic lawmakers to Congress, and take power away from voters.
