Notice of Public Meeting, Aspens-Pines Water & Sewer District, Aspens-Pines Water & Sewer District Wastewater Upgrades Project

The Aspens-Pines Water and Sewer District (APWSD), Teton County, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 4:00 P.M. MST, on July 15, 2025, at the APWSD office, 4745 W. Willowbrook Lane, Wilson, WY 83014. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project: the Aspens-Pines Water and Sewer District Wastewater Upgrades. The project consists of upgrades to the Aspens-Pines Wastewater Treatment Facility to include the redesign and reconstruction of the headworks and the addition of a front-end anoxic zone.
At the meeting, APWSD will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plans can also be obtained for review by contacting the APWSD office, 4745 W. Willowbrook Lane, Wilson, WY 83014. Based on current cost estimates, APWSD plans to borrow $500,000 from the Wyoming Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Increased user fees will repay the loan. The average rate increase is estimated to be $2.00/month per user to repay the loan. Loan terms will be 0.75% interest rate and 20 years.
