Dear Friend of EPPC,

As we prepare to celebrate the 4th of July next week, we have much to be thankful for. EPPC has had many successes in the first half of 2025 promoting the Founding principles we cherish—in particular, religious freedom.

As you know, EPPC is unique among Washington think tanks in that our programs address both politics and culture, as our scholars provide leadership, resources, and formation to culture makers—religious communities and families.

Our work complements a growing national interest in religious freedom, which was illustrated this spring when I was named to President Trump’s newly created Religious Liberty Commission. Other members of the commission include Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Bishop Robert Barron, and Rabbi Meir Soloveichik. My co-comissioners and I are tasked with submitting a report on “the foundations of religious liberty in America, the impact of religious liberty on American society, current threats to domestic religious liberty, strategies to preserve and enhance religious liberty protections for future generations and programs to increase awareness of and celebrate America’s peaceful religious pluralism.”

This recommitment to one of the foundational tenets of the American experiment is particularly poignant as we look forward to celebrating next year the 250th anniversary of American independence—and the 50th anniversary of EPPC’s own founding. But while I’m proud to serve on the Religious Liberty Commission, EPPC’s programs need your help to continue providing their own essential contribution to American religious life and public policy.

Friend of EPPC, as we approach these momentous anniversaries, will you make a tax-deductible gift of $100, $250, or even $500 today ([link removed]) , to help us advocate for the true dignity of the human person and recall our country to the timeless principles on which she was founded nearly 250 years ago?

All EPPC’s efforts are made possible by your generosity, for which I am deeply grateful.

Sincerely,

P.S. If you contribute $500 towards our efforts by July 31st, we will send you a signed copy of EPPC Fellow Clare Morell’s new book, The Tech Exit. Clare’s book is a must-read for anyone who has deep reservations about the way our children are being shaped by their smart devices.
