NY Times: Zohran Mamdani's progressive economic platform electrified younger voters.

BREAKING: Zohran Mamdani has a DOMINANT FIRST PLACE lead in the New York Democratic mayoral primary – crushing corrupt Andrew Cuomo, who just conceded on live TV.

The New York Times reports, "Zohran Mamdani's progressive economic platform electrified younger voters."

It’s an amazing night for progressives, and we were proud to endorse Zohran Mamdani.

This victory shows that a new direction for the Democratic Party is possible – a future of dynamic candidates who appeal to young voters and working class voters with a platform that fights for people, not corporations.

The old guard establishment of the Democratic Party, fueled by billionaires, did everything they could to defeat Mamdani – and they failed. They continue being wrong about everything, and they need to get out of the way and let a new generation lead.

But USA Today reports that Cuomo plans to run in November as an Independent. Zohran Mamdani will need our help to defeat him (and incumbent Mayor Eric Adams, also running as an Independent) again.

Due to a quirk in NY campaign finance law, Zohran’s ActBlue account isn't ready yet. But the New York Working Families Party and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee both will be working hard for him – chip in here to help us finish the job in New York and elect other progressives in key races this November. Congrats on tonight’s big victory. Change is possible.
