John,
Why did Donald Trump really bomb Iran?
It’s possible he wants bargaining leverage in negotiations with Iran over its nuclear capacities. But, there are two more likely reasons...
One: Trump wants to keep distracting you from his failures.
Reason number two? He wants more power.
In our urgent video today, we’ll look at both these motivations. I hope you’ll watch, comment, and share.
His sinking poll numbers. His embarrassing spat with Elon Musk. The unpopularity of his budget bill. Millions of people protesting his abuses of power.
When Trump feels humiliated, he weaponizes chaos and unpredictability to distract and deflect.
And since retaking the White House, Trump has declared more national emergencies than any other modern president in the same time period, on everything from immigration to energy to trade.
By declaring “emergencies,” he creates a sense of perpetual crisis that he claims only he can fix. It’s Dictatorship 101: As George W. Bush's War on Terror recently showed us, nations at war often become more willing to give those in power extra leeway to protect the homeland.
Now, I don’t tell you this to make you upset. I tell you this so you know the truth.
We don’t know just yet how much tensions might escalate in the Middle East. But surrendering to Trump’s tyranny only invites more of it. We don’t have to give in.
We must call on Congress to reassert its power – and vote to stop Trump from taking further military action. We must remain vigilant in guarding against Trump using any military conflict as a pretext to attack our freedoms.
Please, be safe. Be strong. And do your best to stand up against this unlawful Trump regime.
Thank you for watching and sharing today.
