Governor Murphy recently sat down with constituents in New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District — represented by Republican Congressman Chris Smith — to discuss the GOP’s plans to slash Medicaid and put 700,000 New Jerseyans at risk of losing their coverage.

He heard from constituents about how Republicans’ Medicaid cuts could significantly harm the lives of seniors, children, individuals with disabilities, and so many more.

Governor Murphy refuses to sit silently while New Jersey Republicans vote to cut billions of dollars in federal funding for Medicaid. That’s why he’s working with folks from all different backgrounds and walks of life to keep the pressure on Republicans to defeat this bill.
