Three years ago today, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending the federal right to abortion.

We knew what was at stake. We knew it wasn’t going to stop there. And today, our worst fears are coming true.

The moment the Dobbs decision came down, women across the country turned to Emerge. Our website saw more than 28,000 users in June 2022 — a 355% spike from the previous month and nearly 6 times higher than the year before. The message was clear: Women saw their rights under attack and said: I’m ready to run.

That’s what Emerge does. We recruit and train Democratic women to run for office and lead with courage.
