Three years ago, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and ended the federal right to abortion after nearly 50 years. The issue is now up to the states.

Since then, we've seen state-level victories across the country, including Arizona, Kansas, Montana, and Missouri. More than 20 states have voted to protect or expand abortion and reproductive rights access.

But many red states have tightened restrictions or have outright bans – even though the majority of Americans support the right to choose when or whether to have a child.

Speaker Mike Johnson is leading Republicans in their attempts to undo state protections with bills that are cruel, invasive, and unnecessary.

Many pro-choice states, including Oregon, refuse to back down and are working to protect patients traveling from other states and the health care providers who care for them.

Americans do not support a nationwide abortion ban, and neither do I. I will keep fighting until everyone has the freedom to make their own reproductive decisions, no matter where they live.

Thank you for standing with me,
