Earlier this month, I joined millions of Americans across the country who took to the streets in protest of Trump’s slide towards authoritarianism.

The crowd in Louisville was huge, and standing in solidarity beside thousands of my fellow Louisvillians made my heart swell, John.

6 months into this administration, we’re seeing what an effective, nimble resistance looks like — not just in Washington, but right here in Kentucky and around the country.

Finally, John, Democrats are taking the fight to them.

The worst thing we could do now though is take our foot off the gas, because Trump and the GOP are hoping we’ll run out of steam. It’s on all of us to keep that from happening.
