Three years ago, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and stripped away a fundamental freedom for millions of Americans. In the wake of the Dobbs decision, extremist politicians across the country rushed to ban abortion and criminalize care. But here in Maryland, we did something different.

Last fall, Marylanders made our voices heard loud and clear: we enshrined reproductive freedom in our state’s constitution with over three-quarters of the vote!

I’m proud that Maryland has stepped up to safeguard reproductive rights and lead the country forward.

But this fight isn’t over — not when women in dozens of states still don’t have the basic right to make decisions about their bodies.

True freedom cannot exist where anyone is denied autonomy over their own body. That’s why I’m speaking out — and why I’m asking for your support today.
