The United Mine Workers of America is in collaboration with the WVU Institute for Labor Studies and Research (ILSR), to conduct an annual special four-day summer school. Come join UMWA President Cecil Roberts and Secretary-Treasurer Brian Sanson from Sunday, August 10, 2025 to Wednesday, August 13, 2025!

– Current Events and the Labor Movement

The 2025 UMWA Labor Union Training Conference will be held at the Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Registration: Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Closing: Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at approximately 12:00 p.m.
How to Register:
Registrations must be made by July 10, 2025.
Registration fees to attend the summer school will be $525.00 per person. Participants must pre-register for the summer school to attend. Registration fees are non-refundable.
