In Argentina, President Milei  has transformed the state-run kids’ channel Pakapaka to feature The Tuttle Twins, a cartoon that teaches children about capitalism, inflation, limited government, and the “evils of taxes.”

A government using state-run resources to promote freedom from government… Hilarious!

One of the thinkers The Tuttle Twins spotlights is Frédéric Bastiat, the 19th-century French economist whose masterwork, The Law, remains one of the most powerful defenses of individual liberty ever written.

Here’s the beautiful irony: if Bastiat were alive today, The Law itself would tell Milei to shut down Pakapaka entirely.

Why? Because The Law argues that the government’s only legitimate purpose is to protect life, liberty, and private property — not to run television channels.

I was introduced to The Law not long before attending my first seminar hosted by Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) when I was a young college student over 20 years ago.
