John —

This morning over coffee, I was thinking about how often I get asked: “How can you stand to do this job? Why are you still in this work?”

My perspective is that I don’t have to do this. I get to do this. And together, we get to do important work as a grassroots team.

Yes, it’s hard. Yes, it’s exhausting. But I have the privilege of getting to do a really consequential job, and I feel like the luckiest person in the world since I get to do it with people like you.

People who believe in my work — like defending our fragile democracy and protecting federal programs Vermonters rely on — are the reason why I’m still in this fight.

That includes you, John, and it’s why I have to ask for your support today. Our end-of-quarter deadline is less than a week away. Reaching our goal is the best way to show everyone that this grassroots team has what it takes to fight back.

Will you make a grassroots donation before our deadline, John? Your support fuels the work I’m doing in Congress to fight for working families in Vermont and across the country.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

I’ll reach out with more updates soon. In the meantime, get involved where you can. Educate yourself and others. Volunteer on the ground. Organize a movement in your community. It’s up to all of us to show up, push back, and find joy when we can.

Thanks for sticking with me.
