Hey John – it’s Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs. Today marks the third anniversary of the Supreme Court’s unjust decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, putting women’s reproductive freedom at risk.

I’ve seen the effects of this decision firsthand here in Arizona. Last April, the Arizona Supreme Court reinstated a Civil War-era abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. I immediately called on the legislature to repeal this archaic law – and I proudly signed the repeal into law. And then last November, Arizona enshrined the right to abortion in our state constitution.

That’s the power of Democratic governors: Across the country, we’re codifying abortion rights, protecting abortion medication in the midst of Republican threats, and vetoing dangerous abortion bans.

But despite our unwavering efforts, Donald Trump and Republicans are working to undermine reproductive freedoms. In at least 20 states, women are being denied care due to MAGA abortion bans. Their cruel and reckless policies will put women’s lives at risk.

I’m on the frontlines of this fight, John. Trump has already endorsed not only one, but BOTH of my opponents. From supporting taking away healthcare from hundreds of thousands of Arizonans to backing extreme abortion restrictions, they want to take Arizona backwards.

So today, I’m asking you to stand with me and Democratic governors across the country and split a $3 contribution between my campaign and the Democratic Governors Association.
