Three years ago today, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, stripping away nearly five decades of constitutional protections for abortion care.

Since then, we’ve watched as anti-choice politicians across the country rushed to ban abortion, threaten doctors with jail time, and rip away access to basic reproductive health care.

In some states, we’ve seen just how far the far right is willing to go to control people’s bodies and decisions. And with Donald Trump and Republicans promising a national abortion ban if they win back power, the threat is growing.

I’ve never been afraid to stand up for reproductive rights — and I never will. In Congress, I’ve fought to protect access to abortion, defend Planned Parenthood, and stop extremist attempts to criminalize care.

If we want to protect our fundamental freedoms, we have to stand strong, speak out, and show the anti-choice extremists that we’re not going anywhere.
