NARAL Pro-Choice America recently changed its name to Reproductive Freedom for All. Our name may be new, but our mission of protecting and expanding reproductive freedom remains the same.

Reproductive Freedom for All | Formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America

John, today marks three years since Roe v. Wade was overturned by the conservative justices on the Supreme Court.

Since June 2022, a number of state abortion bans have gone into effect. State legislatures introduced bills to heavily criminalize pregnant people if they seek an abortion or experience complications and miscarry. The Trump administration and Republicans continue to push policies designed to eliminate reproductive health care. Pregnant people have suffered, experiencing delays or denials in emergency care—and in some cases, died as a result.

Getting an abortion in America becomes harder each day.

But here's what’s also true, John.

Our movement continues to grow. We have more leading voices fighting for reproductive freedom in states across the country. We helped pass abortion ballot measures in four states. Over half a million people signed petitions supporting medication abortion access.

The next part of our fight is critical: Right now we must stop Congress from defunding Planned Parenthood and slashing Medicaid.

EMAIL CONGRESS

Cutting Medicaid funding and closing hundreds of Planned Parenthood clinics will leave millions of people without health coverage or care. This includes reproductive health care such as abortion, birth control, prenatal and postpartum care, STI screenings, cancer screenings, and maternal health services. This budget bill will only worsen the current crisis we're in.

Everybody has a right to health care. We are the only ones who will fight for our communities and our freedoms. And since Trump took office again, the attacks have become more relentless and more tragic.

But this is why we do the work. We don't stop when we lose. We keep fighting because we know, ultimately, we will win.

Thank you,
