Three years ago — on June 24, 2022 — the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending nearly 50 years of federal protections for abortion rights in this country.
The Dobbs decision changed everything.
Since then, we’ve seen state after state pass extreme abortion bans. We’ve seen women denied life-saving care. And we’ve watched as politicians push to criminalize reproductive healthcare and erode personal freedoms.
This is not what the majority of Americans want — and it’s not what Mainers stand for.
I’ve always believed these decisions should be left to patients and their doctors — not judges, not politicians, and certainly not Congress. I’ll keep fighting to protect reproductive rights and defend freedom.
