Three years ago today, the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade, stripping abortion rights from millions of Americans. I still remember that sinking feeling, and I’m sure you do too.
Since then, Republicans across the country have launched relentless attacks on reproductive freedom.
The damage to women and families across our country since then has been horrific. Indiana was the first state to enact a statewide abortion ban after Dobbs — and others quickly followed. Millions of women in America now live under severe abortion restrictions or an outright ban.
I ran for Congress to protect our rights and freedoms — and that includes defending every woman’s right to access safe, legal, and affordable reproductive healthcare.
I’m proud to be an original co-sponsor of the Women’s Health Protection Act, and I won’t stop fighting until every woman in Indiana and our entire country has access to safe, legal, and quality reproductive healthcare.
I’m not backing down John, but we have our work cut out for us: With Donald Trump in the White House and Republicans in control of Congress, the threat to reproductive freedom, and to our fundamental rights, is very real.
Whether we retake the House or not is going to come down to just a handful of competitive House districts and mine is right at the top of the list. We know it, and Republicans know it too which means this is going to be one tough fight.
Can I count on you to pitch in today to help me defend this critical seat, protect reproductive rights, and flip the House blue?

So long as I have the privilege to serve, I will do everything in my power to defend reproductive rights and stand up to the extremists determined to take them away.
I’m grateful to have you with me in this fight, and together I know we can win.
