Dear SPUC supporter,
At times like these, when the pro-life movement seems shaken by legislative changes affecting the most vulnerable, we really do need to draw strength from one another. Our upcoming National Conference in September will serve precisely that purpose!
I am happy to finally announce our speakers for the conference: Obianuju Ekeocha is a UK-based biomedical scientist and founder of Culture of Life Africa, a pro-life organisation defending the sanctity of life in Africa. Jonathon Van Maren is a pro-life activist, author and journalist, who will be joining us all the way from Canada. In addition, Professor David Albert Jones will be speaking. Professor Jones is Research Fellow in Bioethics at St Mary's University, Twickenham and the Director of the Anscombe Bioethics Centre, Oxford. All of our speakers will have much to say about beginning and end of life issues!
SPUC's Public Policy Manager, Alithea Williams, will also be speaking, after what has been a particularly busy period for her Campaigns team!
The 2025 conference will be residential, running from Friday 19th - Sunday 21st September. It will take place at Yarnfield Park Training & Conference Centre in Staffordshire.

Please unite with us at this pivotal time in our country's history, with simultaneous attacks on the beginning and end of life. And please tell your friends, family, fellow SPUC branch members etc., so that we make this the most successful and impactful National Conference yet.
With best wishes,
