It is 2025 and Donald Trump is still lying about the outcome of the 2020 election. Sadly, spinning false conspiracy theories about that election has become standard fare for the MAGA faithful. Yet recently, Trump made clear that he intends to deploy the full weight and power of the Department of Justice to vindicate his lies.
This is nothing new for Trump — he’s done it before. But this time, it will be far worse.
He recently posted on his social media platform Truth Social:
Crooked Joe Biden, a man who lost the 2020 Presidential Election by a “LANDSLIDE!” Biden was grossly incompetent, and the 2020 election was a total FRAUD! The evidence is MASSIVE and OVERWHELMING. A Special Prosecutor must be appointed. This cannot be allowed to happen again in the United States of America! Let the work begin!
Let’s dispense with the obvious: every word of this is false.
