The President ordered military strikes on Iran — with zero authorization
from Congress. No debate. No vote. No accountability.
This isn’t just reckless. It’s a dangerous abuse of power. It’s illegal
and a violation of the War Powers Resolution. And it’s exactly how
generations of endless war begin.
We’ve seen what happens when presidents bypass Congress to wage war in the
past: Thousands of lives lost, entire regions destabilized, and trillions
of dollars wasted. And each time, it’s the working class that pays the
price.
Let’s be clear: No president — Democrat or Republican — has the right to
drag this country into war on a whim. And if Congress doesn’t assert its
power now, we may never get it back.
That’s why the Squad Victory Fund is organizing to elect progressives who
will say what too many others won’t — and who will fight in Congress to
rein in presidential war powers and demand real accountability.
Today, we’re calling on Congress and the people to take a stand and speak
up.

Any contributor may designate their contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
