Fighting for children is a core mission for every woman. We, as women, are all called to love and nurture, if not biologically, then spiritually.
John,
Last Saturday, we hosted our first-ever Women’s Summit in Huntington Beach, California! The event was sold out, with over 1,000 registered attendees. It was an incredible day of inspiration and encouragement in our fight for life.
We received comments that this event felt different. One participant told us:
“It feels like this summit ignited a revolution.”
Women of all ages showed up. Babies, children, and pregnant mothers made up a high percentage of those present. Older ladies attended as well. One family brought three generations!
This day-long summit focused on topics that flip the script on what women’s empowerment really means. The abortion and reproductive technology industries have lied for decades, but we will change that through sharing the truth and promoting beauty.
Femininity is being attacked, and women are feeling it.
One message was tangibly clear at this event: Fighting for children is a core mission for every woman. We, as women, are all called to love and nurture, if not biologically, then spiritually.
I shared the stage with women who inspire me by their immense courage in defending life and truth.
Dr. Lauren Rubal, a former IVF (in vitro fertilization) doctor, and Stephanie Gray Connors, an international pro-life speaker, informed attendees about true reproductive health and fertility, breaking down common misunderstandings and offering holistic solutions. Pro-life apologetics were passionately and winsomely shared.
Emily Wilson, YouTuber, speaker, and award-winning author, spoke about how issues like abortion are the result of deeper, personal wounds… and that healing is found in the Lord. Allie Beth Stuckey also called on the women present to remember that our moral compass must be rooted in Scripture.
We were also blessed to hear from culture warriors Riley Gaines and Chloe Cole, who both bravely defied cultural pressures to defend the truth about embodied gender.
… among even more incredible speakers!
We had many mission-driven vendors, allowing women to learn about and take home beautiful, life-changing resources.
I announced Live Action’s national effort to Defund Planned Parenthood through our demonstration happening on Saturday, June 28! If you have not heard about this initiative or have not yet signed up to be a local leader or participant, you still have a few days to do so here: [link removed] ([link removed] )
Knowing prayer is our fuel, we are also launching a nine-day prayer initiative, during which we will send you an email with the prayer every day for nine days.
We know that prayer can change hearts and minds more than any work we do, and even though we must always pray for our nation’s leaders, we especially need the power of prayer when they have a decision in front of them like stripping the hundreds of millions that go to abortion giant Planned Parenthood from our taxpayer dollars.

John, I hope you are encouraged knowing pro-life events like the Women’s Summit are happening. We are building a world where everyone recognizes that motherhood is never a defect, but God’s beautiful design.
Darkness and deception are prominent in our culture, but the light of love and truth shines brighter. We as women are told to be hyper-independent, to reject family, and to believe that “the future is female.” But the future isn’t female.
The future is family, marriage, and children.
Grateful to be in this fight with you.

Lila Rose
