House Republicans passed a budget that would gut Medicaid and slash nearly $700 billion in healthcare funding across the country.

Here in New York, we’d lose $13.5 billion each year. That’s funding for children, seniors, working families, and people with disabilities. It’s hospitals and clinics in every part of this state. 1.2 million New Yorkers would be at risk of losing their healthcare coverage.

And every single New York Republican in Congress voted for it.

Why? Because they’re more interested in appeasing Donald Trump and their billionaire buddies than protecting the people they were actually elected to serve. Elise Stefanik and her allies are already pumping money into New York to try and flip this state red . And we know health care is one of the first things they’ll put on the chopping block.

Let me say this as clearly as I can: Health care is not negotiable here in the Empire State.

I’m proud that New York has the lowest uninsured rate of any large state. I’ve fought to expand access to the Essential Plan, protect families from medical debt, and strengthen our hospitals. And I’m not stopping now.

But I need your help. Republicans are raising millions. They’re organizing. And they’re targeting my seat and swing districts across the state.
