John,

We're coming to Lubbock, and we can't wait to see supporters like you in person!

Our team has written a new book, TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS – and now we’re taking it on the road to raise awareness of what trans youth and their families are experiencing all across the country. We’d be honored if you joined us for an evening of good conversation and community about what we can all be doing to support trans equality.

Click here to RSVP to TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS Lubbock on June 28th at 5:30PM, located at the Louise Hopkins Center for the Arts as part of Lubbock Pride! The event is free to attend with your registration. ([link removed])

For this special stop in Lubbock, we are proud to partner with Lubbock Pride, PFLAG Lubbock, Texas Tech University's Rainbow Leaders and First Unitarian Universalist of Lubbock. The event will include a reading from TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS; a panel discussion that includes co-authors Alexis Stratton plus cover designer Liz Williams, Tracey Benefield of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lubbock, Beth Baez of Texas Tech's Rainbow Leaders Association, Ash Martinez of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Lubbock, and Vincent Purkeypile, a community LGBTQ+ advocate and artist; a Q&A focused on how you can take action; and a book signing. All ages are welcome.

RSVP today to secure your spot at TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS Lubbock – and be sure to forward this along to any friends who would want to come, too! ([link removed])

TRANS KIDS, OUR KIDS tells the real-time story of how folks all across the country are meeting the moment to support, protect, and uplift trans youth and their families in a time of unprecedented political attacks. Through personal narratives from more than 50+ people in 19 different states, you'll experience the stories of how trans youth are showing up every day with courage and authenticity, how families are going to extreme and heroic lengths to access health care, and how communities like yours are uniting to support trans youth. If you can't attend the event but still want to order the book, click here to order your book through a publisher of your choice. ([link removed])

We really hope to see you in Lubbock as we work to share these stories far and wide.

With gratitude,
Alexis Stratton
